	E5000 Sputter Coater. The original Polaron sputter coater. Discontinued circa 1987 the E5000 was the first commercially successful SEM sputter coater. Note: pre-dates "Cool" (magnetron) sputtering head and therefore tends to heat samples more than modern instruments. Uses 57mm disc targets Modern equivalent: SC7640 or SC7620 E5000 manual

	PS3 Sputter Coater A small chamber version of the E5000. Discontinued circa 1988 Modern equivalent: SC7620 PS3 (E5000C) manual

	E5100 "Cool" Sputter Coater Pioneering annular head sputter coater. The first SEM coater with a "Cool" magnetic deflection head. Replaced by SC510 circa 1988. Chamber is 155mm (6" ID and uses a 82mm OD annular target. Modern equivalent: SC7640 E5100 manual

	E5150 FTM controlled "Cool" Sputter Coater FTM controlled version of the E5100. Discontinued circa 1988 Modern equivalent: SC7640 with FT7690 E5550 manual

	E5175 Large Chamber "Cool" Sputter Coater Large chamber (200mm (8") version of the E5100. Uses 117mm OD annular targets. Discontinued circa 1988 Modern equivalent: SC7680

	E5200 Automatic Sputter Coater An automatic sputter coater. Chamber is 155mm (6") ID, targets 57mm disc. Discontinued circa 1988. Modern equivalent: SC7640

	E5800 Plasma Enhanced AC Sputter coater (shown with E6900 high vacuum base) Has "gold-fish bowl" style glass chamber, targets 57mm disc. Discontinued circa 1988. Modern equivalent: SC7640

	SC502 "Mini" Sputter Coater Chamber is 100mm (4") ID, targets 57mm disc. Discontinued circa 1993. Modern equivalent: SC7620 SC502 manual

	SC500 / SC500A Sputter Coater Chamber is 155mm (6") ID. Uses 58mm disc targets mounted on an Aluminium backing plate. Discontinued circa 1993. Modern equivalent: SC7620 or SC7640 SC500/SC500A manual

	SC650 / SC650A Large Chamber Sputter Coater Large chamber sputter coater with 230mm (9") glass chamber, with four target assembly. Modern equivalent: SC7680

	SC510 "Cool" sputter coater (middle of front row) SEM coater with a "Cool" magnetic deflection head. Discontinued circ1993. Chamber is 155mm (6" ID. Uses a 82mm OD annular target. Modern equivalent: SC7640

	SC515 FTM controlled "Cool" Sputter Coater FTM controlled version of the SC510. Discontinued circa 1993 Modern equivalent: SC7640 with FT7690

	SC7610 Sputter Coater Chamber is 100mm (4") ID, targets 57mm disc. Discontinued circa 1997 and replace by SC7620 Modern equivalent: SC7620 SC7610 manual

	E5550 Film Thickness Monitor Module Discontinued circa 1992 Modern equivalent FT7690

	E6200 Carbon Coater Turbo pumped carbon coater discontinued in 1996. Designed for TEM carbo coating applications. Modern equivalent K950X.
