New introduction to the Polaron range: SC5750 turbo pumped sputter coater The SC5750 is a compact turbomolecular pumped sputter coater optimised to deposit fine grain chromium and other metals for SEM, FEG-SEM and thin film applications. The process is completely automatic making the SC5750 ideal for inexperienced users.

| 1st April 2005 | Press Release As of 1st April 2005 Quorum Technologies Ltd has acquired the ongoing business and assets of Emitech Ltd in a friendly acquisition that was supported by the directors of both companies. Emitech will continue to trade under EM Technologies Ltd ownership, a company wholly owned by Quorum. Emitech's technical specialist, Phil Missing, will join Quorum's Board whilst Gareth Robinson (former Emitech MD) will be leaving to pursue his other business interests but maintains an interest in the new company going forward. The new team at Quorum and E.M Technologies will be working hard over the next few months to examine how this new alliance can best serve the EM accessory market. In the short term it really is business as usual! We would ask that our customers, distributors and suppliers continue to contact the people that they normally deal with and hope that they will work with us as we set about the exciting task of bringing our goals of increased customer satisfaction through higher levels of service and superior technology to fruition.
