This website is controlled and operated by Quorum Technologies Ltd from our headquarters in Ringmer in the United Kingdom. The following Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Site and purchase of products from the Quorum Shop. By using this Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to comply with these terms (the "Agreement"). Quorum Shop- Order Acceptance:
All orders received shall be understood to have been placed in accordance
with these Terms and Conditions of Business. Any other terms of Business
are excluded and no variation of these terms and conditions shall bind
Quorum Technologies Ltd unless made in writing and signed by a Director
of Quorum Technologies Ltd. Quorum Technologies Ltd shall be under no
obligation to accept amendment, cancellation or rescission of any order
or any part thereof, but may nevertheless agree in writing to such amendment,
cancellation or rescission upon whatever terms and conditions it chooses
to impose.
Quorum Shop - Prices:
The Prices shown are our current prices for ex-works shipments
including packing but excluding shipping charges which are shown separately.
The prices are shown in GB Pounds Sterling.
Quorum Shop - Value Added Tax (VAT):
VAT is shown separately on all transactions with a UK shipping address.
If your UK based organisation is exempt from payment of VAT (e.g. charitable
status) then you should contact 0044(0)1273 510535 for assistance.
Quorum Shop - Payments:
Payments must be made direct on line using major credit cards via the
secure ©WorldPay facility, which is part of The Royal Bank of Scotland
Group.
Quorum Shop - Delivery Times:
Buyer will receive an e-mail shortly after placing the e-commerce order
which will confirm the shipment date. Delivery forecasts given against
the various carriage choices are indicative of typical performance by
carriers. Overseas shipments may be subject to security or customs delays.
Whilst every effort is made to adhere to delivery dates, no liability
whatsoever can be accepted for lateness or non-delivery howsoever arising.
Orders taken on an Ex-Stock basis are subject to goods being unsold at
the date of receipt of the Buyer's order. Quorum Technologies Ltd. reserves
the right to charge for delivery unless otherwise agreed and stated in
writing in respect to individual transactions. Liability for any loss
or damage in transit howsoever caused is not under any circumstances accepted
by Quorum Technologies Ltd. Delay or failure to maintain a delivery date
shall not entitle the Buyer to rescind or cancel any order or withhold
any payment that may be due.
Quorum Shop - Refund Policy:
In the The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000
"consumer" means any natural person who, in contracts to which these
Regulations apply, is acting for purposes which are outside his business;
That is to say that the majority of transactions on our e-commerce site
are business to business and thus not covered by the regulations, however,
Quorum Technologies Ltd operate a fair, open and honest refund policy.
(a). We follow the Office of Fair Trading guidelines on "Shopping from Home on the Internet" and the "Distance Selling Regulations"
(b). It is our objective to provide clear information to you before you place your order and we always confirm every order by e-mail or fax.
(c). We will allow 7 days "cooling off" period from the date of your on-line order. This means that during this period you may cancel your order (which you must do in writing; fax or e-email) without any reason. A full refund will be made unless we have shipped the item, or started work on a special element of your order. In which case we will contact you to agree a plan of action.
(d). Goods returned in new condition and undamaged during this cooling off period will be credited at full value - less the cost of shipping - to your credit card within 30 days of the date we receive your cancellation.
Quorum Shop - Customs Duty and Import Tax etc.:
For overseas consignments the Buyer is responsible for the payment of
all duties, local taxes and clearance fees that may apply.
Termination:
This Agreement is effective unless and until terminated by either you
or us. You may terminate this Agreement at any time. We may also terminate
this Agreement at any time and may do so immediately without notice, and
accordingly deny you access to the Site, if in our sole discretion you
fail to comply with any term or provision of this Agreement. Upon any
termination of this Agreement by either you or us, you must promptly destroy
all materials downloaded from this Site, as well as copies of such materials,
whether made under the terms of this Agreement or otherwise.
Severance & Waiver:
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid by any court
having jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect
the validity of the remaining provisions of this Agreement, which shall
remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any term of this Agreement
shall be deemed a continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
Entire Agreement:
Except as provided herein, these terms and conditions are the entire agreement
between us and supersede any prior understanding or agreements (written
or oral).
Governing Law:
Any claim relating to, and the use of, this Site and the materials contained
herein is governed by the laws of England and Wales. You consent to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. We may nevertheless bring
claims in any other courts of competent jurisdiction.
